poMMo Aardvark PR14.3 has been released! This is primarily a bugfix release && hopefully marks the stabilization of PR14's newly introduced framework. If this release proves itself (bug free), development work will begin on PR15. It is recommended you Upgrade. See the Release Notes for all changes.

I am proud to announce the official release of Aardvark PR14 codenamed Everything but the Kitchen Sink. This is a milestone release featuring a shiny new theme (thanks largely to Mountain/\Ash), improved subscriber management, and a completely rewritten code base. The result is improved code performance, quality, and clarity -- as well as a much enhanced user experience. We hope you enjoy! Please be sure to read about all the changes as well as notes on upgrading. A demonstration is available at try.pommo.org. Update: A release critical bug has been found with PR14 -- mailings will freeze if you have Mails per Second throttling enabled. See this thread for a quick fix. A new release will be available shortly.

This is a milestone release, featuring a new i18n friendly framework, SMARTY templates (for controlling the look of poMMo through Themes), and improvements to subscriber form generation. The bMail project is changing names to poMMo; a reference to "Post Modern" transmission of information and an acronym for... well, we haven't yet decided. See the poMMo page. We are changing names so as not to confuse our project with Infopack's bmail MS Windows based bulk mailer.

Aardvark PR10.2 has just been released. The release addresses several bugs and pilots a new configuration and URL schema. When upgrading, please be sure to update your subscription form and config.php file. All changes can be found here.

ALERT: Users of PR10 should immediately upgrade to PR10.1 - A bug exists in PR10 where recipients are not cleared from a mailing, resulting in subscribers receiving a mailing MULTIPLE (possibly 1000s depending on list size) times as well as seeing the addresses of others on the list.

Aardvark PR10 is here. This is a milestone release for bMail featuring advanced mail throttling, support for up to 4 SMTP relays, and many bug fixes. See the Release Notes for all changes. The new mail processor, multiple SMTP relays, and throttling system need extensive testing. Please provide your feedback!

WARNING: Do not install bMail Aardvark 8.3 and below in a database with existing tables used by other programs. They will be lost. Upgrading from earlier versions of bMail will not effect your other tables. If you'd like to install bMail, create a dedicated database for it as per the instructions. CVS versions have been updated to allow for peaceful coexistance in a shared database environment.

Aardvark PR8.2 has been released. It includes minor improvements, and drops the MySQL Server minimal requirement to version 3.23. This should fix the install issues some users were experiencing. Release notes are here.
